GOP lawmaker Dan Webster saw his town hall meeting in Florida devolve into a series of shouting matches. It looks like Americans are starting to wake up to the implications of the Republican plan to “balance the budget” while further cutting taxes for the wealthiest. The more these stories and videos get out, the more awake and angry citizens we will see. As we’ve learned in North Africa, images of rebellion breed more rebellion.
As for the full “deer in the headlights,” this veteran politician gets so desperate he quotes Hilary Clinton to defend his position. (!) Big lollies there.
