This is one of the most brilliant public relations “stunts” I have ever seen. In the face of increasing anti-immigrant rhetoric, much of it centered around “them” taking “our” jobs, The United Farm Workers Union has launched a new campaign, called “Take Our Jobs.”
By filling out the online job application, Americans in search of work can be connected to farm labor jobs in their area. So far, there have been only a few dozen serious applicants, and also a raft of hate mail. Read the whole story Or apply for a job picking tomatoes here.
